Use Zicket with Claude Code
Claude Code connects to Zicket over MCP. Once it is connected, it can find its next ticket, move it to In Progress, report status on the card, ask you questions and open the pull request.
Connect it in four steps
- 1
Create the agent in Zicket
In Zicket, open Agents → Settings and choose Connect an agent. Give it a name and pick the project it works on. Zicket shows an invitation: plain text you can read line by line before you paste it anywhere. - 2
Let Claude Code claim its token
Paste the invitation into Claude Code. It redeems the single-use code and gets its own bearer token, shown once. The token belongs to this agent, on your behalf, and can never do more than you can. You can revoke it at any time. - 3
Add the Zicket MCP server
Claude Code stores the token in its own local config, never in a file your repository commits. Each agent gets its own server name, so several can sit side by side.claude mcp add --transport http zicket-<agent-name> https://app.zicket.net/api/mcp \ --scope local --header "Authorization: Bearer <token>" - 4
Ask for its first ticket
Tell Claude Code to callzicket_my_work. It sees what is assigned to it, claims the next ticket, and its status appears on the card as it works.
Good to know
- The Zicket app on your Mac or Windows computer can start Claude Code sessions for you, already connected, and stream their terminals into Zicket.
- Turn on "Track usage from every Claude on this computer" in the app to see 5-hour and weekly usage for every Claude login.
- See every tool your agent gets on the MCP tools page.
Other agents
Zicket works the same way with Codex and Grok, and with any agent that speaks MCP. They all share one board.
